Apple has released the public version of its iOS 11 Beta software. This is the software that runs on your phone and changes the look, actions and nitty gritty function of your most used device. With the newest update, expect over one hundred changes coming to your phone, and it seems like all of them are being highly praised online.
As we get closer and closer to September, when Apple usually releases the final version of their iOS, the public beta has become available to anyone and everyone who wants to download it. Tempted to see what all the hype is about? You can download it here.
But if you’re a bit more cautious, here are the things we’re most excited for with the new software. Maybe it will help you decide whether to download now, or wait until later.
11. Updated iMessage App Interface
If you’re the kind of person who loves stickers for iMessage, this update is for you. The new iMessage interface includes a more accessible sticker row that is easier to see and use than the previous versions. Gone are the days of swiping to the end of the selection to try and find the sticker you’re looking for.
There are a lot of new feature in the iOS11 update, and more will be coming as we approach the official fall release of the software. Until then, feel free to hop onto the public beta and try some of these features out for yourself! Just remember, betas can break a device, so make sure you have a backup ready to go in case the unthinkable happens.
